I guess by now you have had a quick go on Flight Sim 2002, and are now wondering if you are going to be stuck with using Landmark as your callsign forever. Im hear to tell you your not!

Here is how to get one of the many already programmed callsigns and aircraft types.

1. Open up Flight Simulator 2002 Editor.

2. Select open aircraft.

3. Scroll through the list looking for the aircraft you want to edit.

4. Open it, it should come up with a gray box, with Aircraft Info and ATC Information.

5. The boxes should be white, if they are not you need to do an extra thing, before you can edit.

	Goto the aircraft folder in Program Files/Microsoft Games/FS2002/Aircraft and you will need to locate the aircraft.cfg for it. Open this up and look down the list of entries for editable. Change the value from 0 to 1.

	Now go back to the Flight Simulator 2002 Editor and reopen the aircraft. It should now be editable

6. You can now edit the selection variables for example, for a Fokker 100, you can now edit it to come up in the selection as Maunfacturer: Fokker. For Variation, I recommend the livery the aircraft is in.

7. Now for the fun bit, having ATC call you as Speedbird, American, Kestrel etc. Click on the pull down menu titled Airline. This the box you change for the callsign. Remember, some airlines use a different name for their callsign than the airline name, for example Air 2000 is Jet Set and Atlas Air is Giant. There is a list of all the obscure ones at the end of this :).

8. Once the callsign is done, you can change the aircraft type, so ATC will tell other aircraft to be aware of the 757 for example.

9. Also editable is the flight number, ID and status, Heavy/not Heavy.

10. Click the disk button at the top to save.

I hope this helps everyone! :)

Now for that list, not complete!:

Airtours = Kestrel
Air 2000 = Jet Set
Atlas Air = Giant
British Airways = Speedbird
America West = Cactus
Express Airlines = Flagship
National Airlines = Red Rock
Aer Lingus = Shamrock
SAA = Springbok
Canada 3000 = Elite

Hope this helps
